Capacity
building
This activity will lead to enhanced
capacity for civil society to engage
in and influence development processes,
equipping them in the long term
to use the knowledge resources and
processes of engagement established
under the preceding activities to
influence the long-term outcomes
of the development projects in the
Nile basin. This activity will also
focus on capacity to monitor and
evaluate the socio-economic impact
of development projects across the
Nile Basin. It will aim at developing
a coherent framework and approach
to CSO monitoring and evaluating
of its own impact on the development
projects and processes.

Annual General meeting.
Since 2003, UNDF had not held any
annual general meeting for members.
On 28th February, 2007 the 2nd Annual
General Meeting was held. 46 members
attended and a new Steering Committee
was elected as follows;
